Voting Troubleshooting

Resolve the most common issues when creating, publishing, and managing ReactionBot polls.

Most Voting issues can be resolved by verifying your poll configuration, Discord permissions, and server settings. This guide covers the most common problems and their solutions.

Poll Won't Save

Ensure all required fields have been completed before saving your poll.

Verify that you've entered a poll title, selected a channel, and added at least one voting option.

Poll Doesn't Post

Confirm that ReactionBot has permission to View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Add Reactions in the selected channel.

Also verify that the selected channel still exists and hasn't been restricted by channel-specific permissions.

Members Can't Vote

Ensure members are able to add reactions in the poll channel.

If the poll requires Vote Credits, verify that members have enough credits available before attempting to vote.

Single Vote Mode Isn't Working

Single Vote mode requires ReactionBot to manage member reactions.

Verify that the bot has the Manage Messages permission so it can remove previous reactions when members change their vote.

Votes Aren't Updating

Ensure ReactionBot has permission to Read Message History and monitor reactions on the poll message.

If permissions were changed after the poll was created, restore the required permissions and try again.

Premium Features Are Locked

Some Voting features require an active Premium server.

Use the /premium command to verify your server's Premium status if Premium options are unavailable.
