Logger Setup

Learn how to configure ReactionBot Logger by enabling logging and selecting a channel for log messages.

Before ReactionBot can send logs, Logger must be enabled and a destination channel must be selected. Once configured, ReactionBot will begin sending enabled log events to your chosen channel.

Enable Logger

Open the Logger dashboard for your server.

Turn the Logger toggle on to activate the logging system.

When Logger is disabled, no log events will be sent regardless of your individual logging options.

Select a Log Channel

Choose a text channel where ReactionBot will post log messages.

Most communities create a dedicated channel such as #logs or #reactionbot-logs to keep moderation events organized.

ReactionBot must have permission to send messages and embeds in the selected channel.

Save Your Changes

After configuring Logger, click Save Changes to apply your settings.

Logger settings are stored for your server and remain active until you change them.

Verify Your Configuration

Once Logger is enabled, perform an action that matches one of your enabled log types.

If configured correctly, ReactionBot will post an embed in your selected log channel.

Before Continuing

Logger Setup only configures where logs are sent.

Individual log categories such as Reaction Logs, Edit Logs, Delete Logs, and Daily Reports are configured separately.

Troubleshooting

If no logs are appearing, verify that Logger is enabled, a log channel has been selected, and your changes have been saved.

Also confirm that ReactionBot has permission to send messages and embeds in the selected channel.

If problems continue, see the Logger Troubleshooting guide.
