Event Types
Learn about the available event types and choose the one that best matches your community activity.
Event Types help describe the purpose of your event. While every event uses the same reaction and countdown system, choosing an event type gives members additional context about what they're participating in. Premium servers can also create fully custom event labels.
Random Winner
Random Winner is ideal for giveaways, prize draws, and community contests.
Members react to join, and once the event ends a participant can be selected as the winner.
Link Drop
Link Drop events are perfect for sharing limited-time content such as downloads, invitations, announcements, or exclusive links.
Members can react to indicate participation before the content becomes available.
Watch Party
Watch Party events help organize community movie nights, videos, or live viewing sessions.
Members can react to join and receive a clear countdown until the event begins.
Stream Starting
Stream Starting events are designed for creators who want to notify their community before going live.
Use countdowns to build anticipation and allow members to react before the stream begins.
Community Goal
Community Goal events are useful for milestones, server challenges, fundraising events, or collaborative objectives.
They provide a simple way to encourage members to participate in shared community activities.
Limited Spots
Limited Spots events work especially well alongside participant limits, allowing administrators to host activities with a fixed number of available spaces.
Examples include tournaments, beta testing, private events, or small group sessions.
Choosing an Event Type
The selected event type does not change how ReactionBot manages the event. It simply helps members understand what the event is about.
Choose the option that best represents your activity, or create a custom label if your community has unique events.
