Event Troubleshooting

Resolve the most common issues when creating, launching, or managing ReactionBot Events.

Most event issues can be resolved by verifying your event configuration, Discord permissions, and Premium features. This guide covers the most common problems and their solutions.

Event Won't Save

Ensure all required fields have been completed before saving the event.

Verify that an event name, channel, and start mode have been selected.

Event Doesn't Post

Confirm that ReactionBot has permission to view the selected channel, send messages, embed links, and add reactions.

Also verify that the selected channel still exists and has not been deleted or restricted.

Reaction Trigger Doesn't Work

Ensure the Trigger Message ID is correct and that the message exists in the selected channel.

Reaction-triggered events are a Premium feature and require the necessary permissions to monitor reactions.

Scheduled Event Never Starts

Verify that the scheduled date and time are correct.

Scheduled launches require Premium and will only begin once the configured launch time is reached.

Members Can't Join

Check whether a Required Role or Maximum Participants limit has been configured.

Also ensure members can add reactions within the event channel.

End Message Didn't Send

Verify that 'Post a Message' was selected as the Event End Action.

Also ensure ReactionBot still has permission to send messages in the event channel when the event finishes.

Premium Features Are Locked

Features such as scheduled launches, reaction triggers, participant limits, required roles, custom event labels, and automatic end messages require an active Premium server.

Use the /premium command to verify your server's Premium status.
