Allow Only Reactions

Allow Only creates an approved list of reactions for a channel or, with Premium, across the server.

Any reaction not included in the approved list is removed automatically.

The original message remains unchanged.

A channel Allow Only rule affects only the channel where it is configured.

This is useful for suggestion channels, voting channels, announcements, applications, support channels, and any area where reactions should remain predictable.

Channel rules are available on the Free plan.

A global Allow Only rule applies across supported channels in the server.

This is useful when the same approved reaction set should be enforced everywhere.

Global reaction control requires ReactionBot Premium.

Use /allowonly and select one or more emojis that should remain permitted in the current channel.

You can include multiple approved emojis in a single command.

Once the rule is active, every other newly added reaction will be removed.

Allow Only rules can also be created from the ReactionBot dashboard.

Open your server, select Reaction Control, choose the channel, and create an Allow Only rule with the approved emojis.

Premium servers can configure a global Allow Only rule from the Global Control section.

Use /clearallowonly to remove the channel rule.

You can also disable or delete the rule from the dashboard.

Removing the rule does not restore reactions that were previously removed.

Allow Only keeps only the emojis you approve and removes everything else.

Block removes only the emojis you specifically select.

Use Allow Only when the channel needs strict control. Use Block when most reactions are acceptable and only a few should be removed.

Allow only thumbs-up and thumbs-down reactions in suggestion channels.

Keep announcement reactions limited to approved community emojis.

Restrict marketplace or support posts to a small set of status reactions.

Create a cleaner voting experience by preventing unrelated emojis.

ReactionBot requires View Channels, Read Message History, and Manage Messages in the affected channel.

Without Manage Messages, ReactionBot may detect unapproved reactions but cannot remove them.

If unapproved reactions remain, run /diagnose in the affected channel.

Confirm that the Allow Only rule is enabled and that the correct emojis were selected.

Check channel permission overrides and verify that ReactionBot's role is positioned correctly.
