Event End Actions
Choose what ReactionBot should do automatically when an event reaches the end of its countdown.
When an event finishes, ReactionBot can either end the event quietly or automatically post a custom message in the event channel. End Actions help automate follow-up communication so administrators don't need to monitor every event manually.
Do Nothing
Selecting 'Do Nothing' simply allows the event to finish when its countdown expires.
The event is marked as completed and no additional messages are posted.
Custom End Messages
Your message can contain any text that fits your event.
Examples include announcing that a giveaway has ended, notifying members that a livestream is now live, or directing participants to another Discord channel.
When End Actions Run
End actions are performed automatically as soon as the event timer reaches zero.
No administrator interaction is required after the event has been configured.
Common Uses
Automatic end messages work well for giveaways, stream announcements, community challenges, and limited-time events where members should receive immediate follow-up information.
Many communities use end messages to keep conversations moving without requiring moderators to manually post updates.
Things to Know
If no end action is selected, ReactionBot simply completes the event and updates its status in the Event Manager.
End actions do not change how the event operates—they only determine what happens after the countdown has finished.
