ReactionBot Documentation
Events Overview
Learn how ReactionBot Events help you run automated reaction-based activities, giveaways, community events, and announcements directly inside Discord.
ReactionBot Events allows you to create interactive Discord events where members join by reacting with an emoji. Events can launch immediately, start on a schedule, or activate automatically when a specific message receives a reaction. Built-in timers, participant tracking, role requirements, and automatic event management make it easy to host engaging activities for your community.
What Can Events Be Used For?
Events are flexible and can be adapted to almost any community activity. Whether you're hosting giveaways, announcing livestreams, organizing watch parties, or rewarding active members, Events provides an automated way for members to participate.
Every event is displayed as a Discord message with a live countdown and reaction-based entry system, allowing members to join without needing slash commands.
How Events Work
Create an event from the dashboard, choose how it starts, configure its settings, and save it. Once active, ReactionBot manages participant tracking, countdown timers, and event completion automatically.
Depending on your configuration, events can launch immediately, wait for a scheduled time, or remain armed until a designated Discord message receives the required reaction.
Core Features
ReactionBot Events includes customizable event names, reaction emoji selection, configurable event durations, live Discord countdowns, participant tracking, and multiple event types to match different community activities.
Premium servers unlock additional automation including scheduled launches, reaction-triggered events, participant limits, required Discord roles, automatic end messages, and custom event labels.
Managing Events
Every saved event appears in the Event Manager where administrators can monitor its status, edit pending events, view participant counts, or remove completed events.
Events move through different stages such as Queued, Armed, Live, and Ended, making it easy to see exactly what is happening at any time.
