Reaction Logs
Learn how Reaction Logs work and which reaction moderation events can be recorded by ReactionBot.
Reaction Logs record moderation actions performed by ReactionBot. These logs help administrators understand why reactions were removed and provide a history of reaction activity across the server.
Available Reaction Logs
ReactionBot allows each reaction log type to be enabled or disabled independently.
Only enabled log types will be recorded in your selected logging channel.
Emoji Blocked
Logs whenever a member adds a reaction that has been blocked by your server's reaction rules.
The log records which emoji was removed, who attempted to use it, and where it occurred.
Allow-Only Triggered
Logs when a reaction is removed because it is not included in an Allow Only rule.
This is useful for confirming that Allow Only rules are working as expected.
Reaction Limit Hit
Logs whenever a user exceeds the maximum number of allowed reactions on a message.
Administrators can use these logs to identify excessive reaction activity or verify that reaction limits are being enforced.
Reaction Removed
Records general reaction removals performed by ReactionBot.
This provides a simple history of moderation actions without enabling every individual log type.
User First Reaction
Logs the first reaction a member adds after joining your server.
Some communities use this to monitor early engagement or welcome new members.
When Are Logs Created?
Reaction logs are only generated when ReactionBot performs an action or detects a configured event.
Normal reactions that do not trigger moderation rules are not logged unless they are part of a premium monitoring feature.
Recommended Configuration
Most servers benefit from enabling Emoji Blocked, Allow-Only Triggered, Reaction Limit Hit, and Reaction Removed.
User First Reaction is optional and is best suited for communities interested in tracking member engagement.
Next Steps
Reaction Logs are only one part of the Logger system.
You can also configure Edit Logs, Delete Logs, Premium Monitoring, and Daily Analytics Reports separately.
