Creating a Poll
Learn how to create, configure, and publish your first ReactionBot poll.
Creating a poll only takes a few minutes. Select a channel, configure your poll settings, customize the available options, and publish it directly to your Discord server.
Step 1 — Enter a Poll Title
Begin by giving your poll a clear and descriptive title.
The title is displayed at the top of the poll embed and should explain exactly what members are voting on.
Step 2 — Select a Channel
Choose the Discord channel where the poll will be posted.
Ensure ReactionBot has permission to send messages, embed links, and add reactions in the selected channel.
Step 3 — Configure Your Poll
Customize your poll by selecting the available options, vote mode, duration, and any optional voting settings.
These settings determine how members interact with the poll once it has been published.
Step 4 — Review Your Settings
Before publishing, review your configuration to ensure everything is correct.
Double-check the channel, poll options, voting mode, and duration before continuing.
Step 5 — Save or Publish
Save your poll as a draft if you're not ready to launch it, or publish it immediately to make it available to your community.
Published polls begin accepting votes as soon as they appear in Discord.
What Happens Next?
Once your poll is live, ReactionBot automatically tracks votes and updates the poll throughout its lifetime.
Administrators can monitor and manage polls at any time using the Poll Manager.
